Facebook Pages-4

If you have a business or some organization you would like to get some exposure a Facebook page may be the way to go. As one of the largest social medias out there, we should be able to use it to our advantage as most businesses do. In, CASA Marketing Intro to Social Media Marketing, Todd Kelsey goes through the different steps to making a page and explaining why it is beneficial.

Facebook is really a way to establish a business online. Many people when interested in a business, will look online and the first thing that is most likely to pop up, other than the website, is the businesses page for the company or organization. Their is so many members on Facebook and this is the perfect way to get people to notice your business or give them a chance to support it. Kelsey would say "A Facebook page is a central 'hub' for a business or organization to establish a social media presence on Facebook" (Kelsey 55).

Establishing a Facebook page for an organization is beneficial, as we already talked about. Kelsey helps to point these benefits that we can use along with the different feature to help these organizations. He shows individual how to create a page step-by-step.



You can create different pages for different things such as artists, organizations, businesses, entertainment, and support. Picking one of these will set up a template for the page and you just fill in the blanks. Once you have created the page and used Kelsey's help, you can begin posting. Posting can pretty much be whatever you want to explain your goals and gain exposure. You can even customize your Facebook link to what you want. Facebook has many other feature to use. One that is interesting is the one where you can "boost" your page. This will give you more exposure. However, there may be a cost involve. But Facebook is a tool for success. So why not create a page and get with the changing times.
